Nestled in a peaceful forest landscape, Zeltplatz Friedensau is located about one hour west of Berlin and just 40 km from Magdeburg. Its location makes it an ideal destination for travellers and groups exploring the Berlin region, as well as for those journeying between Western and Eastern Europe.
With more than 40,000 square metres of natural space, we offer ideal conditions for everything from small group retreats to large-scale gatherings. In addition to extensive camping areas, our covered Arena provides seating for up to 1,500 participants and serves as a unique venue for conferences, concerts, worship services, workshops, community events and celebrations. Whether you are planning a scout camp, youth camp, family gathering, conference, outdoor workshop or team-building event, we would be delighted to welcome you.
Our campsite combines simplicity, nature and community with a variety of accommodation options, event facilities and outdoor activities.
Accommodation
Looking for a unique place to stay in nature?
Bring your own tent and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our forest campsite, or choose from our special accommodation options. We offer traditional wooden cabins, a covered wagon, group accommodation and rental tents for individuals, families and groups.
Whether you prefer a simple outdoor experience or a little extra comfort, you’ll find a place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Camp
The perfect location for scout camps, youth groups and large outdoor events
Our campsite has been designed with groups in mind. The spacious grounds offer plenty of room for tents, outdoor activities, campfires and community life.

Arena

Our covered Arena Friedensau is a versatile venue for conferences, concerts, seminars, worship services, workshops and large group gatherings. With capacity for up to 1,500 participants, it provides a unique atmosphere in the middle of the forest while offering the infrastructure needed for professional events.
Whether you are organizing an international meeting, leadership conference, cultural event or educational program, the arena provides a flexible and inspiring setting.

These programs are ideal for school groups, youth organizations, teams and anyone who wants to experience nature in a meaningful way.
Sanitary Facilites
The centrally located sanitary facilities are divided into separate women’s and men’s sections. Each section is equipped with seven showers, eight toilets, and twelve washbasins. A separate accessible bathroom, including a toilet, washbasin, shower, and mirror, is also available.
Outside the sanitary building, you will find a total of twelve sinks for washing dishes.
Utility Building
The Utility Building is located next to the sanitary facilities in the center of the campsite.
Inside the building, you will find four kitchen and a social room, a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and drying racks.
The building also features a covered seating area with space for up to ten people.
Seminar Rooms
Well equipped and modern seminar rooms are available both as part of an event in the Arena or the Ökohaus — for example, for event preparations or as a backstage dressing room for performers — and can also be rented separately for workshops, meetings, and similar events.
The adjoining kitchen provides basic self-catering facilities for preparing snacks and refreshments.
More services
We rent out material/equipment such as tents, bicycles, canoes, tools, BBQ and equipment, WLAN-router, etc.
For your convenience you find a 24/7 vending machine (snacks & softdrinks). For events and groups we open our shop offering pizza, hot and cold drinks, excellent ice cream etc.
The village „Friedensau“ hosts a university with typical facilites including a library, culture barn, a guest house, a a small shop, a natural lake, and futher amenities.
